Unit 1: A2: Weekly productions Blogs(Week One)

In this meeting, we discussed the feedback which we gained from our peers and what stood out was 'we should have explained our plot in more depth, this would have occurred if we clearly discussed the story line beforehand and had a clear idea of how each character would be like in our play, the costumes, how they would act and generally had a clear idea of everything.'


After we took this into consideration and discussed this, we decided to map out all of ideas and all of the feedback and place this into a mind-map(the one shown above). We discussed some of the feedback of the pitch which was generally to explore our ideas further in the sense that we needed to expand each category further so we decided that to further understand each of our concepts and understand exactly what we needed and what was going to be done, not just for the audience but also for ourselves, we expanded specifically identifying props, what the themes where, where the specific locations would be, which props were requires, which sounds we would use and what types there include even to the extent of already identifying which camera movement,language and shots would be used. In this production meetings which was our first, we just essentially gathered together and further explored and bettered our ideas whilst also incorporating the feedback gained from our pitch.
